Government shutdown has major local impact
WJW: Jonathan Entin, the David L. Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law, said government shutdowns leave agencies unable to answer questions, create backlogs and erode public trust. He warned federal workers living paycheck to paycheck will feel the impact immediately, while the public sees politicians “just playing political games” instead of governing.
