Newsweek: Juscelino Colares, the Schott-van den Eynden Professor of Business Law at the School of Law, said China's reduced oil purchases helped ease global price spikes during the Strait of Hormuz disruption. But he warned that if China later replenishes its vast crude reserves, renewed buying could amplify future oil price surges rather than contain them.
