Former federal prosecutor and local professor weighs in on latest indictment against former President Donald Trump
WKYC: Kevin McMunigal, professor of law, weighed in on the latest indictment against former President Donald Trump, who—along with 18 co-defendants—has been accused of breaking a variety of criminal laws in the Georgia 2020 election subversion case. McMunigal said that one crime ties all their alleged misconduct together: the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. “This is incredibly unusual,” he said. “All of these cases are going to take place around the same time… It’s really unprecedented.”
