Max Mehlman, Arthur E. Petersilge Professor of Law, a Distinguished University Professor, director of the Law-Medicine Centers and a professor of bioethics in the School of Medicine, wrote an opinion piece for The Columbus Dispatch.

In the article, "History shows no good way to ration lifesaving care," he opined that if we’re looking for solutions for rationing life-saving care, we shouldn’t look to the history books for guidance.
