Russian jet damaged U.S. drone with flares in Syria, says U.S.
BBC News: Michael Scharf, co-dean of the School of Law, discussed the geopolitical implications after a Russian jet dumped flares on a U.S. drone's propeller while flying “dangerously” close overhead in Syria. “The U.S. is on shaky legal ground in Syria,” he said. “Russia has been invited in by the Assad regime. The irony here is that Russia has a better legal claim.”
