Lawyers say Trump’s Tylenol move opens door to dangerous new policies—and cause irreparable damage

HuffPost: Sharona Hoffman, the Edgar A. Hahn Professor of Law and co-director of the Law-Medicine Center, said suing the government over President Trump’s Tylenol claims is difficult due to immunity, but courts could force agencies to retract statements under the Administrative Procedure Act. “They can also make their own public relations campaign, they can publicize that this is not backed by science, that it’s, in fact, been studied and scientists found no credible connection between Tylenol and autism,” she said.
