Hahn Professor of Law and professor of bioethics, talked about how prolonging life doesn’t always mean prolonging quality of life. “Everyone wants to die in their sleep, but that only happens to 7 to 15 percent of people. A lot of people believe there is no good death. But knowing (that) you have some control of your end and it can be done with dignity is a great comfort to others,” she said.
