Yaron Covo, assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, was selected to present his work at the annual Health Law Scholars Workshop at St. Louis University in late September. Covo was one of four health-law scholars selected for the opportunity through a competitive process.

Attendees are invited to present their works in progress to receive in-depth advice and critique from veteran scholars.

Covo workshopped a paper titled “Accommodation as Prevention,” which provides new insights into the Americans with Disabilities Act’s reasonable accommodation mandate and its scope.

“I am honored to have been selected for this prestigious workshop and, more importantly, I’m excited to have received such valuable feedback from experts in the field,” Covo said. “It was great to represent the Law-Medicine Center in a forum dedicated to enhancing our understanding of the most complex dilemmas in health law and bioethics.”
