As part of its monthly seminar series, the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods (PRCHN) will present "Bridging the Gap Between Hunger and Health" Wednesday, Sept. 9, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the PRCHN Ground Floor Conference Room of BioEnterprise Building.
The Stay Well Project, a health outreach initiative of the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland, is a partnership with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine’s Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, in affiliation with University Hospitals. The monthly program offers health screenings, education, medical navigation, food demonstrations and more to Hunger Center clientele. Now in its fourth year of implementation, the program already has seen a high level of success in empowering clients to make the lifestyle changes necessary to become and stay well.
