Learn Portuguese this fall

Portuguese is the 5th most spoken language in the world, and the most spoken language in Latin America. It is the official language of countries in Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia with almost 300 million native speakers.

In the Fall of 2026 two PORT courses are being offered: PORT 101 (for beginners) and PORT 201 (Intermediate Portuguese). These courses emphasize conversation skills as students learn about the culture, history, traditions, geography, and politics of lusophone countries.
