The Plain Dealer: Researchers from Case Western Reserve University and MetroHealth are working to correct abnormal heart rhythms using stem cells. Isabelle Deschenes, associate professor of medicine; Paul Tesar, assistant professor of genetics and genome sciences; and Eckhard Ficker, assistant professor of medicine, hope to predict which family members will develop an abnormal heart rhythm and which will not.
