Neha Kumar, a student at the School of Medicine, recently penned a column about how interacting with animals can boost an individual's well-being and reduce stress.
In the piece, titled “Adventure #14: Going Through a 'Ruff' Time?” Kumar reflects on her experience with an app that allowed her to arrange to spend time with a dog for a few hours.
Kumar’s piece was part of the column she writes for in-Training, an online publication run by medical students. Her column, called “Mind Your Mind,” explores mental health in medical practitioners.
