Orlando Sentinel: Mark Cameron, associate professor at the School of Medicine, said that unanswered questions about COVID-19 shouldn’t undermine trust in science. “You start with a hypothesis, you test the hypothesis. The scientific process is actually built on trial and error, but that doesn’t undermine its importance,” he said. “We’re in a much better position now than we ever were in controlling the virus ... because of those trials and tribulations and because of the failures we’ve had, mainly by dropping our guard way too early.”
