COVID's impact on cancer care is turning oncologists' worst fears into reality

NBC News: Nathan Berger, the Hanna-Payne Professor of Experimental Medicine at the School of Medicine, said that the combination of COVID-19 and cancer is “synergistic and leading to mortality. The death rates are much higher than they are for either of the diseases alone.”
