Surge in younger COVID-19 infections could worsen the pandemic

MediumRobert Salata, a professor of medicine in epidemiology and international health at the School of Medicine, pointed out that the average age for new cases of coronavirus in Ohio has fallen from about 60 early in the pandemic to 47 today, citing the main causes as increases in large gatherings and people not wearing masks.
