Why do some people think there's a 'scromiting' epidemic in the U.S.?
Vice News: Ryan Marino, assistant professor at the School of Medicine, commented on bogus claims of an increase in people in America simultaneously screaming and vomiting because of cannabis use. “I do not think a serious person would talk in such a way as this,” he said. “And the thing that is most important to me that nobody in these stories likes to mention is that there is no evidence of causation between cannabis and hyperemesis, and not even a proposed theoretical mechanism that is accepted.”
