Minority Writers’ Panel to be held Jan. 26 featuring playwrights, poets and actors

On Jan. 26, the Department of English will host a Minority Writers’ Panel featuring Cleveland-born award-winning playwright Michael Oatman; Ugandan-Canadian actor and playwright and CWRU visiting assistant professor George Seremba; and poet, playwright, urban education scholar and assistant professor at John Carroll University Mary Weems. The panelists will present brief readings and will discuss their work. The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. in Guilford Parlor. Refreshments will be served.
