Francesca Brittan, assistant professor of music, moderated a discussion with Franz Welser-Möst, the music director of the Cleveland Orchestra, and Mark Evan Bonds, a German music scholar and professor at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
The three spoke about the Cleveland Orchestra's Prometheus Project, which re-examines the music of Ludwig van Beethoven for modern audiences.
