Linda Ehrlich, associate professor emerita of modern languages and literatures, recently published a book, The Films of Kore-eda Hirokazu about the films of award-winning Japanese director Kore-eda Hirokazu. Her work is the first English book written about the director.
Ehrlich discusses Hirokazu’s first 13 works, helping readers understand the films as art and relate them to their own lives.
