New parking rates announced; employee permits only available at Access Services

Access Services announced new parking rates for the 2016-17 academic year. Specific rates for each lot are posted online. The new rates are effective July 1, 2016. In addition, the discounts available to eligible staff have increased. The discounts are as follows:

• Parking rates are discounted 25 percent for full-time CWRU employees with annual salary less than $50,000.
• Parking rates are discounted 25 percent for part-time CWRU employees with annual salary less than $25,000.
• RTA monthly passes are discounted 55 percent for full-time CWRU employees with annual salary less than $50,000.
• RTA monthly passes are discounted 55 percent for part-time CWRU employees with annual salary less than $25,000.

CWRU employees are eligible for only one of these two discount options. Full-time employees work 20 hours or more per week, part-time employees work less than 20 hours per week. Students working on campus are not eligible for this discount. Students can purchase parking online. Faculty and staff purchasing new parking permits must buy them at Access Services in Crawford Hall, Room 18. Employees who already have parking deducted from their payroll don't need to do anything, as their parking will roll over into the next fiscal year.
