The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures will present a videoconference discussion with Werewere Liking, acclaimed novelist and playwright and founder of the Pan-African Center for the Arts in Abidjan, Cote-d'Ivoire.
The discussion will be in French and will be held Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 10 to 11:15 a.m. in Kelvin Smith Library, Room 215.
Liking will discuss her literary and theatrical works and talk about the success of her Center for the Arts that gives hope and a future to orphaned and abandoned youth through professional training in music, theater, light and sound engineering, costume design, etc.
