Shanina Knighton, a PhD student in the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, placed first in Girl Power Pitch Night—an event geared toward college-aged, female entrepreneurs—on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
Knighton’s project is a product aimed to improve hand hygiene for patients. The event was hosted by Blackstone Launchpad and Bad Girl Ventures.
