Joyce Fitzpatrick, the Elizabeth Brooks Ford Professor of Nursing, won the Nightingale Initiative for Global Health’s Action in Advocacy Award for Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring Nursing's Future Leaders.
The award will be presented in conjunction with the UN 61st Commission on the Status of Women at a Gala Reception and Celebration March 16.
Fitzpatrick was selected for the award for her contributions to the global nursing network.
