Cleveland schools hopes to fix underreported poisoning with lead testing partnership
WKSU: The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing and Cleveland Metropolitan School District are partnering to test Cleveland students for lead poisoning. Lynn Lotas, director of the program and associate professor of nursing, explained the relationship between poverty and lead poisoning in Cleveland children, and how that exposure can impact a child’s development.
