Nursing’s Sarah Gutin Barsman earns 2025 Nurse of the Year award

Sarah Gutin Barsman, PhD, lead faculty of the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program at Case Western Reserve University’s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, earned the 2025 Nurse of the Year award from March of Dimes last month. 

Offered through March of Dimes’ Heroes in Action award series, this award recognizes outstanding nurses and maternal-infant health providers who provide exceptional care in hospitals, NICUs and clinics.
