Office of General Counsel’s Lex Ehrenschwender named inaugural recipient of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Emerging Leader in Law Award
Lex Ehrenschwender, associate counsel in the Office of General Counsel at Case Western Reserve University, was named the inaugural recipient of the prestigious Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s (CMBA) Emerging Leader in Law Award at its 19th annual meeting, which was held earlier this month.
This award—which was presented by Jennifer Karmik, CMBA director of strategic partnerships—honors an attorney whose influence shapes the future of the legal profession. Recognizing excellence in leadership, service, professional achievement and commitment to the legal community, it celebrates rising leaders whose impact far exceeds their years of practice and whose example inspires those around them.
Serving more than 460 young lawyers, Ehrenschwender has helped transform engagement within the CMBA’s Young Lawyers section as its former chair. Through his leadership and dedication, executive council membership grew from just three members to more than 20, creating a stronger, more connected community and expanding opportunities for young attorneys to lead and serve.
