Essence: David Miller, associate dean of academic affairs and student services, explained the importance of Black men having access to prostate exams, as well as the anxiety men have about such screenings.
“What I have found out is you have to explain it to Black men, why their risk is higher, and the importance of checking on it. It’s about explaining what that means so that they can make an informed decision,” Miller said.
