STORY BY: EDITORIAL STAFF

Are you a faculty member who is curious about personal and professional growth? Do you want to deepen your connections with others across campus? Those at Case Western Reserve University are invited to participate in Gestalt Experience Weekend, an opportunity to foster interpersonal connections across campus through guided discussions and activities.

At this event, participants will explore how individuals communicate, relate and build authentic relationships with others during two workshops, which will take place:

  • Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 13, and Sunday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Similar to previous workshops, which took place earlier this spring, these workshops will be led by two expert facilitators from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, which includes Kathy Clegg, associate professor of psychiatry at the School of Medicine and psychiatrist at University Hospitals of Cleveland.

These free workshops—sponsored by the Department of Philosophy’s Beamer-Schneider Professorship in Ethics—will take place on campus at the former HIllel Center (11291 Euclid Ave.), located near Clark Hall on Mather Quad. While food and drinks will be provided during the day, those who attend will be responsible for their own lunch.

Space is limited to accommodate 12 participants per workshop.
