PBCS planning and budgeting system to be unavailable today for upgrade

The CWRU ERP Financials Team will upgrade the planning and budgeting system from PBCS to Oracle EPM Enterprise today (Aug. 25). The PBCS production system will be unavailable from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. while the upgrade is in progress. Once completed, users will access the system through a new URL or redirect.

This platform upgrade is a necessary step in preparing the system for the position planning implementation project, which begins this September. It also positions [U]Tech to leverage advanced EPM technology to deliver additional functionalities and enhancements in the future. From a user perspective, the upgrade is expected to be transparent, as all existing functionalities will be carried forward to the new system, ensuring continuity of current capabilities and business processes.

The new URL and redirect details will be provided once the upgrade is complete. Please watch for a follow-up communication with the updated access information.
