A new way to detect Alzheimer’s? ABC News: A new drug called Amyvid may give patients a conclusive diagnosis of Alzheimer’s, which, before now, couldn’t be done until after death. Neurology professor Peter Whitehouse said it could lead to over-diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. “[Amyvid will] raise false hope and increase costs,” he said.
