Earlier this month, Robert Brown, Distinguished University Professor and the Institute Professor in the Department of Physics at Case Western Reserve University, took part in a panel discussion hosted by the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) titled “The Future of Physics Education: Federal Funding Cuts and What Comes Next.”

During the discussion, Brown explored the impact of recent federal funding changes to physics programs, teachers and the broader STEM pipeline.

Other participants of the panel were France A. Córdova, former director of the National Science Foundation, and Gabe Spalding, president of the AAPT board of directors.
