Trump postpones running mate announcement
VOA: Justin Buchler, associate professor of political science, explained the drawback for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to select Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate. That pick likely would not draw in independent and Democratic voters, but Trump "decided that he needed to appeal to the Republican base more than to try to reach out to independents. There's no way to do both."
