Prices for 'Walking Dead' ad packages topping many broadcast commercials Ad Age: The cost of ad packages for AMC’s The Walking Dead is almost as high as some of the most expensive programs on prime-time broadcast TV. Most advertisers say they look for family-friendly show, which The Walking Dead isn’t. However, "Strip away the zombies, and it is the same drama of straining marriages, growing up, and family skirmishes,” said SAGES Fellow Brad Ricca. “The only difference is every so often zombies show up and this 'family' shoots them with crossbows.”
