President Snyder elected chair of the American Council on Education board

President Barbara R. Snyder was elected to chair of the board of the American Council on Education (ACE). She became board chair during ACE2018, ACE's 100th annual meeting, in Washington, D.C., last month. President Snyder will serve for one year in this position. She previously served as vice chair.

About the organization

ACE is the main coordinating body for American institutions of higher education. The organization advocates for higher education in federal policy debates, encourages innovation and works to strengthen the nation’s universities and colleges.
