Saha, professor emeritus of English and linguistics, discussed the word “whatever,” which was found to be the most annoying word for the fourth year in a row according to the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion. Saha also discussed some other annoying words that have made the leap from the computer screen to everyday conversation.
