County Executive Ed FitzGerald named J.B. Silvers, the John R. Mannix/Medical Mutual of Ohio Professor of Health Care Management, to the board of trustees of the MetroHealth System. Silvers also is a professor and chair of the Department of Banking and Finance at Weatherhead School of Management and holds a joint appointment in the School of Medicine. He will serve a voluntary six-year term on the board.
When he announced the selection, FitzGerald said Silvers “will be an asset to this body and will bring a background of financial and health services management that will be ideally suited to the needs of MetroHealth and Cuyahoga County.” For more information, click here.
