Members of the campus community are invited to see how students in the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences have applied their knowledge and skills to a problem related to the health of our communities. The results of the students’ work will be on display at the Public Health Innovations Conference today (Nov. 30) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Biomedical Research Building, Room 105 and lobby. Lee Hoffer, associate professor of anthropology, will give a keynote presentation titled “Reorienting to the Illegal Drug Market for Opioids: The Consequences of Modern Drug Distribution” at 1 p.m.
