The university community is invited to the Department of Physics’ annual Pumpkin Drop event today (Oct. 25) at 12:30 p.m. in front of Strosacker Auditorium.
During the event, participants will test the effect of the Earth's gravitational field on pumpkins, and the subsequent interaction with the Earth's surface.
Pumpkin pie also will be served.
