Wake Up With Weatherhead

Wake Up With Weatherhead, a new series of dynamic breakfast programs that bring together Northeast Ohio’s business leaders, professionals, academics, alumni and students for high-level networking and thought-provoking discussions, was launched in August. Four different programs are planned for the year on topics such as Financial Fusion, Leading the Future, Innovation and Sustainable Systems. Recruitment updates

On the recruiting front, a number of graduate programs entered FY26 with stronger enrollments: Doctor of Business student enrollment increased 50%, Master of Leadership and Organizational Change grew by 40%, part-time Master of Business Administration grew by 30% and Master of Business Analytics and Intelligence increased by 90%. This is a testament to faculty and staff working together to respond to the needs of the modern working professionals in program design, effectively telling our story and engaging the entire community in the recruiting process.

Coupled with another strong year in undergraduate enrollments (200+ declared majors in the incoming class), this sets the stage for a terrific class and a strong story during what has proven to be a challenging year for many schools.

Executive education is recognized globally

Executive education has always been a crown jewel of CWRU Weatherhead School of Management, as thousands of program participants over the decades can attest. Now this recognition has gone global, with the Financial Times naming us the No. 3 executive education shop in the country—and No. 2 in the world for overall participant satisfaction.

Weatherhead’s career development team has had a busy year, and the work is paying off—the full-time MBA class starting salary has increased by $11,000 over last year, and our placement rate increased by 15-20% as well.

Master of Supply Chain Management and Master of Business Analytics and Intelligence graduates are approaching $100,000 all-in starting compensation with a much stronger job placement rate.
