Readers share their favorite spots to take in a nice day in Cleveland

With so much good weather recently, we wanted to know where the university community likes to take it all in. Many of the respondents to this week’s Connect question named locations in the Cleveland Metroparks system, including:

• Huntington Beach,
• The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo,
• Edgewater Park, and
• Wendy Park.

But there are plenty of other places to enjoy a nice day in Cleveland besides the Metroparks. Other responses to this week’s question included:

• Cleveland Botanical Garden,
• Mentor Headlands State Park/Beach,
• Progressive Field,
• The Holden Arboretum woodland trail, and
• Wade Oval.

There should be plenty of chances to get out to enjoy all that Cleveland has to offer, as summer officially begins Monday, June 20.
