The University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) will host a 14-week seminar, “UNIV 401:College Teaching Preparation,” for graduate students and postdocs interested in exploring teaching at the university level.
Throughout this course, participants will have the opportunity to learn effective teaching strategies for various academic disciplines and how to write a stand-out teaching statement. Students will also be exposed to practical, research-based strategies, including aligned course design and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
Classes will take place Tuesdays, starting on Jan. 13, from 10 to 11:15 a.m. during the spring semester.
