Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to participate in the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program’s remote “Writers in Love: Percival Everett and Danzy Senna” course.
Taught by Angela Fasick, writer and lifelong learning instructor, participants of this series will read and discuss:
- Danzy Senna’s Colored Television, which received the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award; and
- Percival Everett’s James, which was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
Participants will also explore the ways Senna and Everett influenced each other’s style, interests and worldview as a married couple and parents of two children.
This course will take place Tuesdays, Sept. 30 through Oct. 21, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
