In honor of Lynn Landmesser’s retirement as chair of the Department of Neurosciences, there will be a symposium on nerve regeneration and repair Friday, May 16.
The symposium will present cutting-edge research and draw distinguished scientists in the field, and will also highlight local research at Case Western Reserve University and Athersys, a local biotech company.
Speakers will include neurosciences professor Richard Zigmond, Distinguished University Professor Hunter Peckham, Vice President for Research Bob Miller and other faculty members and scientists from CWRU and around the country.
The symposium will run from 11:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., and will take place in the Wolstein Research Building auditorium.
