The Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine will present “The Healing Games,” the school’s 29th annual Doc Opera performance, on Saturday, Dec. 14. Doc Opera is a student-run variety show composed of musical performances, parodied songs and dances and videotaped skits—all written, directed and performed by medical, dental and nursing students and faculty.
At 6 p.m., there will be a cocktail hour with a raffle and silent auction. The show will begin at 7 p.m., with a dessert reception to follow.
The event will be held at the Masonic Auditorium on Euclid Avenue.
Tickets are $25 for non-students, $15 for all students and VIP tickets are $50. All proceeds benefit The Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland, the Student Run Free Clinic and the University of Michigan Student Run Free Clinic through the Faith Clinic in Pinckney, Mich., which was lost to a fire in February.
