The Siegal Lifelong Learning Center will kick off its TZION series on Monday, Sept. 15, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the Siegal Beachwood Facility (26500 Shaker Blvd.).
Rabbi David Starr will lead the inaugural session of TZION series. At the session, Starr will discuss Theodor Herzl’s vision of a new “Jewish State,” and how his vision can be seen in Israel today.
The TZION lecture series marries a commitment to exploring the connection between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel, with critical thinking about Jewish nationalism and the politics and challenges of creating and maintaining a Jewish State.
