Tim Black, associate professor in the Department of Sociology and faculty associate of Social Justice Institute, will give a talk titled “Race, Gender and Mass Incarceration” on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, room 108.
Sponsored by the Department of Sociology, the Social Justice Institute, the Women's and Gender Studies program, and the Ethnic Studies program, the event will include a meet-and-greet with food and refreshments at 4 p.m. and a lecture from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
