Stay safe, be well and stay connected this fall

Now that we have passed Fall Break and had an opportunity to take a deep breath, it's time to reinvest in (or restart) good health practices and safety habits in preparation for the final eight weeks of the semester.

Stay safe: As we move into autumn and nightfall comes earlier, we encourage everyone to remain aware of their surroundings.

  • Report any suspicious activity immediately to CWRU Police by calling 216-368-3333.
  • Please direct non-emergency calls to 216-368-3300.
  • You may also use the CWRU Spartan Safe App to report concerns.

Be well: Sometimes it can be the little things we don’t often think of that can make a big difference in how we are feeling. We encourage students to add the following into regular routines:

  • Clean their room
  • Keep their room safe & secure
  • Get a full night's sleep
  • Eat healthier
  • Get moving now that the weather is changing
  • Get back into a routine
  • Take a timeout and decompress
  • Detox from caffeine and other stimulants that jolt the system

Stay connected: Being connected within a strong community is foundational to success at CWRU.

  • Invest in relationships
  • Ask for help
  • Remember to look out for others
  • Live in the present!
