Advice offered for first-time donors to nonprofits
Jewish News: Amanda Pinney, executive director for strategic giving, offered tips on what to be aware of when giving to a nonprofit for the first time. The process can be simple, she said, as easy as an online donation, establishing a recurring or rollover gift from an IRA that takes advantage of tax savings, or simply mailing in a contribution.
