Earlier this month, G. Dean Patterson, associate vice president of student affairs, served as a member of the National Advisory Committee at the National Conference on Race & Ethnicity in American Higher Education (NCORE). NCORE is designed to provide a forum for discussion on effective strategies to enhance access, social development, education, positive communication and cross-cultural understanding in culturally diverse settings.
