Support Cleveland Families with CWRU's Student Run Health Clinic
On behalf of the CWRU Student Run Health Clinic (SRHC) Outreach Committee, we are excited to support First Year Cleveland (FYC) and the Diaper Bank of Greater Cleveland (DBGC) during National Infant Mortality Awareness Month. Access to diapers is a critical factor in supporting infant and family well-being, yet far too many families in our community struggle to afford these essential items. This month, we invite you to make a one-time or recurring donation to FYC through the fundraising link. All funds raised in September will go towards purchasing diapers for Cleveland families. Every dollar makes a real difference!
We also wanted to share an opportunity to join DBGC's inaugural Cleveland Diaper Dash 5K on Saturday, September 19th, at the Cuyahoga Community College Eastern Campus. If you’re looking for a fun way to get outside, run or walk with classmates, and support families in the Cleveland community, this is a great opportunity to get involved! The registration link is attached.
DBGC currently distributes approximately 17,000 diapers each month to more than 350 children and does not receive federal or state funding, making community support especially important. We hope you will join us in supporting families across Greater Cleveland, whether through a donation, the 5K, or helping spread the word.
